Terms & Conditions

THE CONDITIONS OF YOUR ACCOMMODATION BOOKING ARE:

1. All bookings are arranged for the dates you have requested and taken in good faith by Mossgrove Bed and Breakfast, but may be subject to change prior to the commencement of the booking. All advance deposits are to be made at the time of booking, (bookings of 1 week or less, 1st night’s tariff paid, bookings for more than 1 week the first weeks tariff paid), all balances paid on day of departure. Allocated accommodation may be changed at our discretion, however it would only be an upgrade to the original booked accommodation. We reserve the right to cancel any booking should anything arise, which in our opinion absolutely renders the booking impractical. In any event, we shall notify you as soon as possible and arrange similar accommodation with bedding to match original numbers of people booked.

2. These services are offered in good faith at the time of booking. Should circumstances outside of our control prevent delivery of the booked accommodation, we will make all reasonable endeavours to source equivalent services at the agreed price.

3. Your Accommodation should be available after 2.00pm and is to be vacated by 10am on the day of your departure, unless prior arrangements have been made and a late checkout fee paid.

4. In accordance with health authority regulations, dogs and pets are strictly not allowed under any circumstances.

5. The maximum number of persons (including children) permitted to occupy the booked accommodation will form part of the booking contract and will be nominated when you make your booking. Extra guests will be allowed with prior arrangements made at an extra charge.

6. All cancellations must be in writing and are subject to a cancellation fee. No refund of any unused portion of a confirmed booking will be made. Travel insurance is recommended particularly for high-cost bookings.

7. Our business hours are 9am-9pm daily. If you intend to arrive after hours, please notify the us for book in procedure.

8.No liability is accepted for any injury, debt, damage, loss, delay, expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by circumstances beyond our control.

9. No responsibility is taken for guests personal property left on, in or near the premises whilst staying at Mossgrove, or left after departure. This extends to acts of nature, fire, theft and pest. All care must be taken to protect the accommodation and your personal belongings whilst you are accommodated. Doors and windows at the premises should be secured at ALL times. Postage costs will be payable if staff are required to collect/return items left by guests. All lost property will be retained for a period of 45 days, after which it will be disposed of if not claimed.

11. All accommodation is for residential or corporate purposes only. Functions, parties and extra guests are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED and PENALTIES APPLY. Any type of function, party or get-together will incur a MINIMUM non-negotiable function fee of $500 and immediate eviction will occur without refund of any balance of an unused stay.

12. As the guest you will be responsible for damage to the property or premises or loss of or damage to any items at the property, including but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, floors, walls and floor coverings, furniture and fittings, kitchen utensils, crockery, glassware, cutlery and the guest will pay to Mossgrove Bed and Breakfast, the full cost of replacement or repair of any such items damaged or lost. All damage, breakages or losses are to be reported to us immediately. All furniture and equipment must be left in the premises as originally found. These damages will automatically be charged to the clients.

13. Guests are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of accommodation keys. Duplicate keys are not always available, however if an additional key is required this must be pre-arranged with management.

14. To avoid an extra cleaning fee of $120 guests are required to leave the premises neat and tidy.

15. All of Mossgrove's accommodation has a strictly NO SMOKING policy.

16. Upon departure of the property, during your stay and at the end of your booking, please ensure all appliances, lights and heating/cooling are turned off .

17. Extending your stay should be made prior to your departure and can only be accepted when the previous occupation has been satisfactory to Mossgrove and the property is still available.

18. Any printed, written or verbal description of the booked Accommodation by Mossgrove or an employee is made in good faith and to the best of our knowledge; however no responsibility for misrepresentation, errors or omissions can be accepted. All courtesy will be given on genuine dissatisfaction. Any information or terms and conditions contained in related websites are subject to alteration without notice.

19. Strictly NO PETS allowed in Bed and Breakfast!

20. Cancellation Policy.

We require a non-refundable payment of your first night's tariff for bookings of less than one weeks duration, or a non-refundable payment of your first weeks tariff for bookings of 1 week or more.

72 hours notification is required to cancel the remainder of a booking of less than 1 weeks duration.

To cancel a booking of 1 week or more, 2 weeks notice is required.
